Megan Hudson
Founder - Postpartum Doula My career has always been centered on the family. With over a decade of experience as a Kindergarten teacher and nanny, I’ve had a front-row seat to the raw, messy, and beautiful work of raising little humans. In 2020, I launched my postpartum work (formerly Intuitively You Doula), and since then, I have had the sacred honor of guiding over 50 families through the transition of welcoming a newborn home.
While my background in early childhood education gave me the tools, my own journey into motherhood in 2025 truly deepened my "why." Navigating a C-section recovery and the wild ride of my own postpartum experience reminded me firsthand: parents deserve to be nurtured just as much as their babies. I founded The Postpartum Home to expand that support. I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to newborns; every baby is a unique individual, and every parent deserves a sanctuary where they feel heard, supported, and confident.
When I’m not supporting our team or our clients, you can find me enjoying life in Seattle—my home for the last 10 years—with my amazing husband, our sweet baby girl, and our senior rescue pittie.
Kaitlyn Trussell
Birth & Postpartum Doula I'm a Seattle-based birth and postpartum doula with a deep passion for women's health, wellbeing, and the full arc of the journey into motherhood.
I started my doula work supporting mothers through birth, and I've witnessed firsthand how much the early postpartum days are shaped by that experience physically, emotionally, and mentally. As your postpartum doula, I show up at your door in those tender first weeks with an understanding of your body's recovery, the weight of the transition you've just made, and how deeply personal this time is.
I believe every mother deserves to feel seen and supported as a whole person, and I bring an empathic, unhurried presence to every visit, showing up for whatever you need most that day.
